Suffering Hair Loss. Suggested Bontress Lotion. Having Itching. Which Is The Best Brand? Medication Life Long?

Hi,
I am suffering for heavy hair loss from past 2 yrs. My dermatologist has suggested me to use Hair4U 10%, Bontress lotion (Capixyl) , ES-BIO capsules & Finpecia regularly for minimum of 1 yr. I am using these medicines since 6 months and have seen considerable reduction in my hair loss. But from past 2-3 months my head is itching a lot due to the heavy alcohol content in Hair4u 10%.I checked with my doctor and he suggested me to go for Hair4u 10% foam, but i checked the alcohol content is also more. Which Minoxidil is the best (Foam OR Solution) and which brand is good for use (Tugain OR Mintop OR Hair4U) and Do i have to use this medication life long or 1 yr is enough? Please reply, thanks

Hi,
Thanks for writing here.

You are having androgenetic alopecia.

All minoxidil brands are same .

Foam is a better option than lotion which prevents itching.

Mintiop foam is routinely prescribed brand.

You have to use it life long.Hope this will help you.Take care.
