I am always alone have mood swings and fast cycling mania either depression or high nag however since being in menopause for a year its only depression i feel I take klonopin because the ativan caused amnesia SSRI drugs don't seem to work Im thinking of checking into high point in plymouth ma to get some help because my empty nest and agoraphobia are killing me. I feel noone likes me and in fact people take advantage of my kindness and are usually alcoholic which i have on and off to treat loneliness. I have so much potential but feel too tired to care noone understands or even wants to so i just pay the bills college ect my ex is a dead beat. Been alone too long feeling sorry for myself obviously but do you think High POINt in Plymouth ma can help me?
If you have bipolar disorder, then taking just SSRIs may not work well in depressive episodes. You would also need a mood stabilizer for best results. I feel that checking into High Point Treatment Centre in Plymouth MA may be good for you as they have a dual diagnosis center and therefore, should be able to treat well both your alcohol related issues and bipolar disorder. Since alcohol worsens depression and since depressed people are more vulnerable to alcohol dependence, both need to be focused upon for a good outcome. Dual diagnosis centers specialize in treatment of people with both substance related disorders and other psychiatric illnesses and can be expected to help you.
Best wishes.
