Suffering With Costochondritis, Arthritis, Diabetes. Diabetic Medicines Cause Nausea And Chest Pain. Normal?

I have costral contritus and athritus. My chest pain has been ruled out as cardiac (ruled as costral contritus). I am now a type 2 diabetic. Most diabetic medication causes some level of nausia. Insulin injections 40 units+ per injection caused chect pain. Is this normal? is it more likely to be irritating the costralcontritus or causing some new cardiac condition? (sorry for the spelling).
