Suffering With Fever. Low Platelet Count. Suffering With Typhoid?
Hi I am Shakil ,
before one week i was suffered from fever. my test report is TLC:5600/cumm, ESR: 27nm/1st/hr,
palatelates counts:0.75 lac/cumm.Please find my widal test report:
titer 1/20 1/40 1/80 1/160 1/320
o + + + + -
H + + + - -
AH/BH - - - - -
i have take medication 6 days and test again my TLC :0000/cumm and palatelates is 108 x10^3/ul.
My Palatelates becomes normal within 3-4 days. My question is i am effected from typhoide? I am feeling well now.
Please reply me ASAP.

which medicine you have taken.yes titers shows you are suffering from typhoid.no need to worry take proper antibiotic for complete 14days.you will be fine.

Widal test is positive and it is suggestive of Typhoid fever.
But platelet count is usually decreased in viral fevers such as Dengue fever.
Nothing to worry as your symptoms have improved and platelets raised to normal count.
And these test reports has to be clinically correlated with your symptoms and signs by the doctor.
