Suggest OTC Medication For Itchy Rashes Under Breasts And Armpits Of A Bedridden Lady
My mother is 93 yrs old has alzheimers and is bedridden. She has developed a severe rash under her breasts and armpits. We are using Caldesene Protecting Powder per Hospice, but this is not really helping. It does itch her. Is there something else over the counter that we could use?

you can apply any ointment containing neomycin, clobetasone and clotrimazole all in one.The ointment should be applied after cleaning the breast and armpit area.You can also give her a tablet of levocetrizine once daily.Ask her to take plenty of water and may even be given any multivitamin tablets containing antioxidants.Kindly get her fasting or random sugar done too. Kindly try to monitor that are there any associations of rashes with and food or any clothes?
