Suggest OTC Supplementary Medicine For Hydrocodone
I m 60 years have cerebral palsy and have severe lower back pain from years of walking due to my disability. My docs have been prescribing hydrocodone 10/325 four times a day since 2008 and I had someone steal my medicine. Due to that I m going through the withdrawals what can I take OTC to help with my problems, I m thinking about going to police about my problems but really need to deal with the bad withdrawals now.
It is really sad to hear about your problem. The major problem with long term use of opioids is its withdrawal.
To be honest, it's very difficult to be managed effectively with anything at home, you may use paracetamol for pain, and Zyreretic for itching if you have any.
But as I said it's not easy to manage it at home. The best way forward is to go to ER, as they may arrange your drug for you on urgent basis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
