Suggest A Balanced Diet After A Dental Implant Surgery
BS 234 after 6 1/2 hours without food. Had oral impant surgery monday and am on low salt diet plus low carbs/sugar for type 2. Low fat for cholesterol. How can I eat a balanced diet with no chewing and the other restrictions. YYYY@YYYY ? Forget it. I m too sick to do payments..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain in case if you have got an implant surgery done and you are on a low fat and low carb diet then you can still take a balanced diet by taking a semisolid meal like softened bread and milk, fruits by mashing and also other foods that you take by softening and cooking them to the level of making them soft and pasty.. It will help in eating them without chewing and give you appropriate nutrition.. You need not to starve as you can take light soft meals even which needs slight chewing after implant surgery as it will not cause any problems with the surgical site..
Along with it take proper medications like antibiotics and painkillers as advised by your dental surgeon and take proper aseptic precautions to prevent infection as you are already a diabetic..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
