Hi i was told by my 12 year old son s doctor that his sugar level is almost considered being diabetic and not to give him sugar soda or candy. Im a lil confused. Should i change the whole milk and his food diet also?Not sure what exactly to look for in foods

Diabetic diet would consist of giving complex carbohydrates in moderate quantities, low in fats, high in proteins and good quantity of fibres. It is advised to give frequent small meals at regular intervals. Along with diet, regular moderate exercise is also an essential component to keep blood glucose under check.
