Suggest A Diet Plan To Lose Lower Belly Fat

I was raised a vegetarian till the age 21. However, due to an erratic sleep schedule, I reckon staying up too late raised my cortisols by a huge margin but due to lack of awareness back then, I had no clue how to approach it. Since 2012, I started eating chicken and eggs, and working out regularly. Turns out I have a built upper body but as I had not been eating properly prior to that nor was I getting regular sleep, I lost quite some mass in my legs which I havent really worked out much. Now lately I have incorporated 8 different types of lentils to my diet along with chicken, only olive oil, yoghurt, no milk, no fats, no sugary foods, brown rice, brown wheat pasta. Also, am taking Ashwagandha powder along with Tulsi powder and Maca root these days and it does provide me with energy. I am really interested in losing 10-15 pounds. Currently I am 198 though I am heavily muscular in the upper body but I intend to lose fat in my lower belly and cheeks. Am I on the right path diet wise? Also, I am taking Zinc supplements along with Vitamin B Complex and Vit C supplements, and Green Tea Complex. Am I doing it right? Would you have any changes to suggest?

Hi,

As per your query Weight loss is a combination of a healthy and nutritious diet, regular workout, proper sleep and above all maintaining persistence in a healthy schedule. I would suggest you to maintain a proper metabolism of the body by eating small meals every 2 to 3 hours. You can take 3 major meals that is breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat minimum in dinner and in breakfast should be a combination of small portions of foods that can contain calories in high concentration also like any piece of sweets/deserts etc as they get digested throughout the day.

In mid meals you can eat sprouts, fruits like apple, oranges and salads like carrots, cucumber etc. Drink 3 to 4 litres of water per day. Do regular workouts and weight training under an expert guidance. Brisk walking and cardio exercises like aerobics will also be helpful. Avoid stress as it can cause overeating and also disturb your schedule and cause negative effect in weight loss.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
