Suggest A Diet That Will Reduce Inflammation Caused By Osteoarthritis
Hello.. I have recently received results of an X-ray of both of my hands. It showed erosive osteoarthritis. I am planning to see a hand specialist. What can I expect from this specialist and is diet an effective method to bring down th inflammation? If so, what sort of foods are suggested and /or eliminated? Thank you for you ur help.
Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns. There is no recommended food or diet that can help in erosive osteoarthritis. In your case your physician is likely to start you on paracetamol, physiotherapy and topical NSAIDs creams if he will be sure that its osteoarthritis.
If he will not be sure of this he may advice some other tests to look for metabolic diseases of bone. Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
