Suggest A Good Treatent For Overactive Gallbladder

Just before Christmas, I had an episode where I had severe pain in my upper right back that radiated down my right arm and ended in tingling and numbness in my right hand. I had a series of tests that ran to pain in my upper right abdomen that resulted in a diagnosis of overactive gallbladder. Just a few days ago, I had an episode where I had severe pain in the sternum area, dizziness, nausea and sweaty palms. I passed in about 15 minutes. I m now wondering if the overactive gallbladder is just a minor annoyance and there could be something more serious going on. Thoughts?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think also you should test your heart function doing an ECG and stress effort. Angina is possible and not much likely related to gallbladder issues.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
