My mother is a suffering from pre-diabetes and she also has high acid uric. She now feels her nutritional options has been drastically reduced since most of the food group recommended in a gout diet are forbidden for diabetes patients, where can I find information on a healthy diet for a person with such health conditions?

These are some simple tips for a diabetic diet .
To eat a healthy diet. Include smaller and frequent meals Do not skip/delay any meals. Maintain meal timings To include more fibre in the diet like whole grains, pulses and vegetables. To include more fluid in the diet as clear soups, buttermilk. To drink 2-3 litres of water per day. To restrict refined cereals like Maida and noodles. To restrict concentrated sweets and sugar preparations. To include green leafy vegetables in the diet. To include skimmed milk and low fat milk products in the diet. Restrict deep fried foods and bakery products. Restrict the intake of oil to 500 ml per month per person Include healthy snacks in between the main meals Achieving or maintaining a healthy weight.
