Suggest A Remedy For Cramps And Abdominal Pain Post Antibiotics Intake
my husband took and antibiotic over a week ago, when he first took the antibiotic it caused severe diarreha and he took 1 single immodium. now he is having stomach pain and cramps and when he tries to have a bowel movement very little to nothing comes of it.
Hi thanks for asking question. Some antibiotic might cause diarrhea like azithromycin. You have possibility of drug induce gastric damage if taken for long duration. You mostly have non specific functional bowel disease. Follow some of the below instruction. Start omeprazole for 2 week. Eat more fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink more water. Regularly do 30 minute exercise. Avoid smoking and alcohol. Cooked oatmeal useful. Turmeric is also found to be beneficial. Take probiotic to restore healthy bacterial flora. If still no benefit ultrasound examination or endoscopy examination done. Wish you good health. Dr.Parth
