Suggest A Remedy For Hard Lump Under Armpit Oozing Smelly Brown Pus
I had a boil a few years ago and it burst on its own. After a few days it stop hurting but never went away. Now I still have the large hard lump under my armpit and when I squeeze it brown thick pus comes out. The smell is very loud. No matter how much I squeeze it doesn t go away. What is it and why doesn t it go away? Also what should I do to get rid of it?
It keeps recurring because a small amount of pus remains though it may be squeezed.
It needs to be incised and drained by your doctor. This is an in office procedure and the only way to get rid of all of the discharge. This is the definitive treatment for an abscess (collection of pus).
If this is not done, it will continue to recur.
In addition to this, a course of antibiotics is needed as well.
I hope this helps
