Hi,

Drugs which can be used to increase the bowel movements which are safe in pregnancy as well include domperidone, metoclopramide, itopride and levosulpiride.

However any medication should be used only after consultation of your doctor specially during pregnancy.

Moreover it is advised to use plenty of water, use food which is rich in fibres and do regular exercise/walk to help increase the bowel movements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
