The Podiatrist said that I needed arch support. He gave me a met pad to place in the shoe to raise my foot and take some pressure of the ball of the foot. Also, he stuck another cushion type material around where the arch is in the shoe so as to lift the arch when I have the shoe on. These two supports have reduced the pain. HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If the feet feel cold, then it may indicate that there is a reduction in blood supply or altered nerve supply to the area.

Either of these can cause this sensation to occur.
To determine which is present, your doctor may need to assess the pulses in the foot and leg.
He or she can also do a nervous system examination to assess the nerves that are in that area.

Treatment would depend on the cause found.

I hope this helps
