I started to walk daily for up to about 50 minutes each day, over a period of about two months. In the middle of May, last year (2015), I started to get pain in the ball of my right foot. The Podiatrist said that I needed arch support. He gave me a met pad to place in the shoe to raise my foot and take some pressure of the ball of the foot. Also, he stuck another cushion type material around where the arch is in the shoe so as to lift the arch when I have the shoe on. These two supports have reduced the pain. However, the ball of the foot is still sore without those supports in the shoe. My senses tell me the foot is cold around the base of the toe area, but is not cold to the touch,
