Hello and welcome to HCM,
The sprain in back and hip region is responsible for the pain that you are experiencing on your back and hip.
Sprain is caused by pulling or rupture of ligaments.
Immobilization and rest are required so as to allow the damaged ligaments to heal.
Healing may be slightly difficult for ligaments on back and hip.
However, rest and pain killers will help.
Positions which aggravate the pain like sitting on chair may be avoided for a while.

Thanks and take care
