General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

A compress would help to reduce the swelling along with elevation of the limbs as well.

Rest the affected areas as much as possible and apply a cold compress as well to help reduce pain.

The use of anti inflammatory pain killers, if you can use these, would also be helpful eg ibuprofen, cataflam, naproxen

I hope this helps
