Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

It is an age of rapid growth. proper nutrition, protein and a mild degree of exercise are enough since he is gaining weight and muscle. Do not try heavy exercises. damage to growing cartilages may lead to growth to stop. Mild to moderate exercise is enough for his age.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Rajmohan, Pediatrician
