General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction to this class of medications.
Depending on the infection that you might have you may use an alternative class of antibiotics.
Antibiotics such as clarithromycin, doxycycline and erthyromycin may be safe alternatives for you.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
