General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Both Sesonique and Amelia are combined birth controlled pills that contain Ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel. So, they should have the same medical effect as the active ingredients are the same.

The main difference is that they are produced by different pharmaceutical companies and thus have different brand names.

I hope this answers your query and is helpful to you. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.

I wish you quick recovery and good health,

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj,
