Suggest Alternate Remedy For High Fever
dear doctor my daughter was up with fever of 101.7 late night. we have given two doses of 6 ml each of ibugesic plus the last dose given at 6.45 am now fever is repeating at a scale of 102. Please advice that i should give the same dose or switch over to Mefenamic acid

I really appreciate your concern and if the child is having high grade fever then do not try to bring down the temperature with anti-pyretic because in children "fever is friend" cold sponging is the best way, and try to find out the underling cause of high grade fever, hope this information helps you, take care and have a nice day.
