I am a stage 4 cervical cancer patient. Just finished six rounds of chemo with almost every horrible side effect .after finishing chemo my oncologist put me on avastin as a maintenance drug. My last pet scan was completely clear! And my dr really went on about how mild the side effects were with this drug...... Not so in my case .it was every bad thing that I didn t have with chemo. Nasuea, vomiting severe back pain, blurred vision. So my question is what are some alternatives to avastin?
