Suggest Alternative Medication For Acne And Black Spots On Face
I had a grommet inserted in my right ear 5 days ago, along with taking my adenoids out. Ever since then I have experienced the whooshing sound in my ear that is constant and never goes away. It s very distracting and uncomfortable as it seems to pulse in time with my heart rate. Will this continue or is there something I can do to clear it up?
Following the insertion of the tubes, the ears may be hyper-sensitive to loud noises for a few days. If there is a significant amount of infected fluid within the middle ear, antibiotic drops like ciprofloxacin may be required 3 times a day.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
