Suggest Alternative Medication For High Fever, Sore Throat, Headache And Body Ache

Suffering from fever(101.5-104.5) last two days, on dolo 650 mg and antibiotic augmentin. Other symptoms include sore throat, headache, body ache. Fever comes down to 101.5 after taking dolo otherwise hovers around 103.5. Should we wait for a couple of days or can we switch to other medicines

I read your query carefully.
As per details,
You are taking the right medication I would not suggest you to switch this antibiotic before 5 days.
- Take Acetaminophen 1000mg three times a day after meal.
- Do Tepid Sponging to reduce tge fever.
- Take a cup of hot water add 1 table spion salt and do gargales three times a day.
- Diphenhydramine syrup 1 table spoon three time a days with other mesication.
Along with this medication I would advise you some lab investigations like
- Complete Blood Count
- Urine complete examination
- If your symptoms remain same after 5 days I would advise you to visit hospital.
