Suggest Alternative Medication For Severe Pain In Upper Right Abdominal Quadrant
I am 54, white female with massive scar tissue from a botched gall bladder removal operation. I had paratinitus on 3 seperate occasions, resulting from operations to repair leakage from a cut main bile duct and a random cut to my liver resulting in a leak in the billiary tree. The paratanium infection has left me in severe pain, upper right quadrant. Seems everything is now grown together so I am treated with small amounts of pain medication, but my life is less than a quality life. Any suggestions? This has gone on for almost 20 yrs and pain doctors treat me like I am a problem to them. I don t abuse my meds, EVER. What options do I have?
Based on the history you have shared, you have been through a lot and if still you are in pain then you need to consult pain specialist and ask for nerve block so that the pain settles and you can have a quality life.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
