Suggest Alternative Medication In Place Of Nexito Plus

HI My father has been suffering from depression mostly emanting out of some kind of fear and anxiety, he was prescribed deanxit and was on same medication for over 4 years, though his depression was under control but it lead to some neural trouble restricting his walking. Later last year after we could not get deanxit, his medicine was changed to nexito plus, but it does not have same impact on his depression ever since, in past few weeks his anxiety, fear thus reaction has increased, alongside no sleep at all at nights. Should we consider increasing the dose or is there any other way to treat it without affecting him further. Appreciate response. Regards Deepak

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Yes, the dose of the medication may need to be altered if it is not at at the maximum dose already.
Any dose change would have to be done by his doctor to make sure that this is the correct way to go.

If the medication cannot be safely increased further, it may need to be switched to an alternative medication.

I hope this helps
