Suggest Alternative Medications For Duloxetine And Levocetrizine
Yes, please. I recently applied for a Medicare Supplemental Ins. policy and in their prescription coverage guidelines, they charge an exorbitant amount for 4 prescription drugs I have been taking on a daily basis for years and need to know if there is a less expensive drug I can substitute for them since I am on social security. The drugs are: (1) Duloxetine Hcl CAP 20 MG (Cymbalta) for neuropathy pain). (2) Diclofenac Sodium Gel 3% (Voltaren) 100 GM tube (for arthritis pain). (3) Esomeprazole Magnesium CAP 40 M DR (Nexium) (Acid Reflux, gerd). (4) Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride TAB 5 MG (for severe allergies). I would appreciate your response, as I have to let my new mail order pharmacy know what drugs I will be taking.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi,
If you send a picture of rash then it will be more helpful. Do you have high temperature associated with the rash? High possibility from your description is chicken pox. In such a case, proper rest should be taken. You should also take nutritious food.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nishad BN, General & Family Physician
