yes, is there another drug that can be taken instead of Flagyl, my niece is on it for a vaginal infection and the side effects are horrible, only been on it for two days and she is dizzy, weak, off balance...headache... Thanks for your response Pattee

Flagyl is used to treat bacterial infections. She can use creams or suppositories for less side effect. In case of a fungal infection, she can use antifungal cream or suppositories.
