Suggest Alternative To Macrodantin
The drug macrodantin, is great for me and has helped me so much, dr. says I must take it daily, but the cost is much too expensive for I am a widow and live on s/s. is there any help for me? I had 4 severe infections in january and febuary this year then started on macrodantin and have not had one since. please see if there is any assistance since I cannot afford it. thanks Janice Spears 903-887-1122

I would call around and see if some of your local pharmacies have macrodantin on their discount formulary. Places like Walmart often have many antibiotics on a $5 monthly discount list. If not then I would suggest that you talk to your doctor about getting you samples or changing you to a more inexpensive medication. Good luck to you.
