I changed Dr . s and have been treated by this Dr. for 2 years and tried different pills, gel, cream, patch and now the femring. NO LUCK!! Someone suggested hyperhidrosis. PLEASE HELP!!!
You should get an endocrinologist review to rule out hormonal or endocrine cause of the problem. I suggest taking a baseline Thyroid profile, as well as urinary metanephrines levels as well. Rarely serotonin levels may be required however if it's only in face and rest of the body is spared, neck X-rays and MRI may be needed as well as neurological or autonomic nervous system involvement should be ruled out. Using beta blockers if blood pressure and heart rate allows may decrease the problem.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
