Since you have tried laser, and Cosmetic Surgeon without much benefit, I would advise you the following and have proper understanding: - First of all, please understand that scar is the reaction of your body to an injury which is different for every patient. - Please consult a General Surgeon with experience in plastic surgery or a Plastic Surgeon if you have one in your area. - Discuss the stage in which your scar is like hypertrophied or keloid. - Watch for the old scars on the body which will indicate your body s reaction to the wounds. - Get Vitamin levels done and thus get vitamin deficiency corrected as these are necessary for proper healing response. - Local application of honey and Vaseline helps to soothe every scar very well and prepare at home. - Local injection of steroids helps a lot in some cases. - Surgery to be considered only if the medical management fails. - Properly done surgery may help to have better results.
