Suggest An Alternative Antibiotic For Staph Infection

I am on flucloxacillin for a severe staf infection following shoulder surgery. I started on an IV infusion of 8000md daily for 42 days which reduced the infection but it is now increasing again.I am taking oral flucloxacillin 250and the infection is increasing. Is there any other antibotic you can recommend

Hello

Yes there are alternatives available but it's not wise to switch your antibiotics without proper checkup. You need to get your wound cultures done in order to check the antibiotics sensitivity again.

I suggest you to see your doctor for a proper checkup and treatment optimization.
