Hi welcome to HCM...

Here you are having allergic bronchitis ....

So yes treatment given with montelukast is proper ...
But here i want to know your AEC level from CBC ....
If very high than combination drug used with montelukast and fexofenedine by Allegra M...

Here spirometry also done which assess severity of bromchitis and help in guiding treatment ....It will also rule out asthma if present .....

Now here in allergy infection as long term approach try to avoid allergen to which you are sensitive like.........
-Cold
-Dust
-Pollen
-Mould etc.......

Investigate with alllergen test like for ex.Patch test to detect allergen...
Today immunotherapy , antioxident therapy also available for long term benefit ...........

Avoid smoking.......

Steam inhalation useful...

Consult pulmonologist with keeping these in mind....

Take care .........
