Suggest An Alternative Of Lisinopril For The Treatment Of Hypertension

I have a cough due to lisinopril and want to consider non-ACE inhibitor medicine to lower blood pressure. What are options for non-ACE inhibitor blood pressure medication. I intend to discuss with my cardioglist, but would like to research various options for side effects, interactions, etc..

Hello there I have read through your question and would like to tell you that ace inhibitors cause dry cough in some people. An alternative for ace inhibitor is angiotensin receptor blockers like Losartan or Telmisartan. Calcium channel blockers is also a good substitute depending on your age . You can discuss these options with your cardiologist. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
