Suggest An Alternative Of Meloxicam

I am currently taking Meloxicam and my doctor is wanting to take me off of it, I have stopped using it, however the pain is excruciating and I would like to know if there is something comparable to it, without all the side effects that i could possibly take over the counter?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Safest one is paracetamol, you may use it in a higher doses maximum three times a day. If not helpful, then tramadol may be tried upto three times a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
