I have had severe allergies since I was a child (allergic to everything except for cows – seriously, lol). I have been thru the shot series but recently moved from Alabama to Kentucky and guess pollen here is different type(s). So I’m going thru shot series again (sigh). I throw up several times the first four hours of every day. My APRN says it’s due to allergies (pollen) and referred me to an allergy specialist, my appt. is next month. In the meantime, can you advise me what medication could help? I’m thinking Sudafed but when I asked for her to write prescription so insurance would cover the price, she wrote me 10 400mg pills for Mucus Relief to be taken twice a day, no refill. I also take Ondansetron every morning to help prevent throwing up – it helps somewhat. Can you please advise me, specifically re; Sudafed; I used to take this and it worked, of course now it’s difficult due to regulations but if it works, I need it.
