I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.
If your tinea corporis infection is not responding to the antifungals, it's must to rule out underlying predisposing factors like Diabetes, immunosuppressive disorders & treatment if any.
I advice you to take, - Tab. Griseofulvin (6weeks) or terbinafine (4weeks) as itraconazole is not responding. - candid powder in the day time or - Terbinafine cream at night for 2weeks - maintain good self hygiene
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician
