hydrocephalus is associated with pressure changes [sooner or later] thus surgical intervention is the treatment/management of choice [even if neurological examination and investigations are Normal at this time]
PS. symptoms to look out are: headache,
blurred vision,
dizziness,nausea, tiredness and
metallic taste in the mouth,tinnitus, tingling in arms and legs and weakness of
facial muscles.
2. at her age people usually suffer from NPH [normal pressure hydrocephalus] where drainage of CSF is blocked gradually, and the excess fluid builds up slowly
PS. parts of the brain most often affected in NPH are those that control the legs, the bladder, and the "cognitive" part resulting in dementia, difficulty walking, inability to hold urine.
3. what maximum can be done through Ayurveda is:
. Head end elevation to reduce pooling in throat.
. diuretics [मूत्रविरेचनीय] to reduce ICP [intra cranial pressure] and
. laxatives to regulate bowel movement.
