Suggest Baby Food That Can Be Given Along With Breast Milk

Hi my son is one month old. He is on breastfeed. But for sometimes i ve to give him lactogen as due to sore nipples i feel a lot of pain n just give up. But i gave him only once in a day. I d like to ask should i continue with lactogen or nan pro is better as my son is only one month old to be given to him only once in a day. Also Plz suggest what to do for sore nipples as due to continuous breastfeeding the pain is increasing day by day, it becomes so sensitive that even a light touch makes it painful. Becomes very hard to feed. Plz help.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Sore nipples may be due to how the baby is latching on.

He may be latching on to the nipples only, most or all of the areola should be in his mouth.

If this is done, the pain would be reduced. The use of paracetamol would help as well.
This would be safe for the baby.

I hope this helps
