Hello sir,
Good morning,
I read your case in that you described like your mom has some
benign tumor in her pitutary gland for that she takes drug bromocriptin for reduction of
prolactin...now she has some side effects n want to reduce bromocriptin or stop it...
Here I wanna know some information that
1.) size of pitutary gland tumor
2.) age of patient
3.) dose of bromocriptin
4.) other drugs that are taken by her regularly
5.) now days which side effects bothers more
As every drug has some side effects those are reduce or removed by adjusting the dose that drug n slowly increase the dose to maximum effect or may be we can add some other drug that can antagonised the side effect of bromocriptin...this is about the drug side effect
For that we have to know minimum above points...
N may be you can take advise from surgon also for the surgery that is permanant solution for binign tumor in pitutary gland...
For that I suggest first consult your
endocrinologist means your consultant doctor n inquiry about that n even surgery n after that you can consult M.S otorhinolaryngologist (E.N.T. DOCTOR) for the surgery concept
Have a nice day
Thank you
Regards from
Dr.Ravi Kotecha.
