Hi, I am 53 yo Type I Diabetic and 6mos ago was told I am also now Type II, Insulin Resistant. I have scoliosis and Spinal Stenosis. I have Fibromyalgia and RA! I have not been able to tolerate Rheumatoid Medications. Every time I try a new med I get infections and side effects. I am obese have lost some weight but tend to gain back. I am on 17 medications and supplements in including two types of Insulin daily. I use a cane but a walker is better. I cannot walk ir stand very long (5 mins or under or abt 25 - 50'. Stairs are killers, especially going down! Lately I am so weak, I feel like I can't make it out of my car with a few groceries. Need to lean on peoples, cars, rails etc. or else I can't make it. I am so afraid to fall, I loose my balance easily. 2 ½ years ago I fell and ended being hospitalized and rehabs for 3 mos. The Rehabs did help with my physical mobility issues. Now I feel so weak like I'm going to pass out or fall. Don't know where to turn. Rheumatologist, Endocrinologist, find a new Neurologist or Orthopedic? I have been living on Steroids off and on for 8 years and on the Medryl for 6 years straight, also take Gabapentin 1800 ml day and 90 mls of Cymbalta for pain plus Tylenol occasionally for pain. Cannot use Narcotics, and cannot use NSAIDS like Ibuprofen nor Aleve because I suffer from Edema in my legs. I feel so helpless, I cannot live like this anymore. Please advise if you can! Thank you, Paige. YYYY@YYYY
