One of the first blood pressure medications that I would try that I didn't see on your list is amlodipine, which is a calcium channel blocker and is a very good choice for most hypertensive patients.
The most common side effect is leg swelling, which can happen in up to 10% of patients. However, for most patients there are no problems, and I think it may be a good option for you.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
