Suggest Blood Thinners That Can Be Taken Along With Green Vegetables
I am currently (and have been) taking cumaden (sp) what other type of blood thinner can I take that will allow me to have my green ie; spinach, broccoli, asparagus and other dark green vegetables? I have an mechanical aorta valve (Rheumatic Fever when a child created this issue). Have had my new aorta valve about three years now. Heart is even strong enough to operate it without having a pace maker in. I would like to eat these vitamin K filled veggies. Also would love not to need to have my blood tests done twice a month. What would you suggest. I have my next Dr. appt. first week of May and would like to know what I need to ask my Doctor. Thanks, Candace
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, looking to the medical condition that you have it is better to continue the medicine given by doctor no need to have any particular diet for this, but better to rely upon pharmaceutical agent only, of course you can have more vegetables that would be oaky, if you do not have any symptoms or complaint then no need to ask anything to doctor but this could be routine follow up, hope this information helps, take care.
