Suggest Cause And Remedy For Stomach Pain With Tender Upper Abdominal Region
i m having upper right stomach pains right at my rib cage slightly below, my family doctor has done ever test possible but every time after i eat i throw up or have upset bowel movements. my upper abdominal is tender to touch all the way across. any suggestions?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. The symptoms what you are complaining of upper abdominal pain and vomiting are suggestive of symptom complex of 'acute gastritis'. You need to take a course of antiemetic with antacid medication combination like Domperidone with Pantoprazole to overcome this. Gradually, with this drug, your symptoms should subside. In case it doesn't, you need to undergo Upper GI endoscopy to visualize what could be the cause, so that it would be managed appropriately. Hope the information provided would be useful. All the best.
