Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that the symptoms of numbness of fingers of feet and hand with a history of
uncontrolled diabetes seems to be due to
Diabetic Neuropathy..
It occurs due to uncontrolled or high blood sugar levels that lasts for months and years together, without taking care of..
It slowly damages the nerves and causes numbness of affected parts..
Hands and feet are commonly the initial ones to be involved and it is an alarming condition and needs immediate medical attention..
I would suggest you to consult a Neurophysician and get her evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Blood sugar levels both fasting and post meal, HbA1c, Nerve conduction studies,
Electromyography will be advised for a proper evaluation and diagnosis..
Although the damaged nerve function cannot be reversed and treatment is aimed at preventing further damage and progress of the disease by proper control of blood sugar levels..
Certain therapies like Accupuncture,
Physiotherapy and Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation [TENS] and
multivitamin and mineral intake can be advised..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
