Suggest Cause For Drainage In Ears With Stuffy Nose And Clogged Throat
hi, thanks for your time. i have drainage from both ears, no pain, no fever, and the drainage happens throughout the day and sometimes at night. my throat feels clogged and my nose is stuffed. i saw my Dr. she said i do not have an infection in my ears. this has been going on for about 6 weeks.

Discharge in ears mostly occurs due to infection in the ear.In your case as you are suffering from Stuffed nose and clogged throat,Ear infection might be due to an upper respiratory tract infection.
You might find relief by taking Ear drops(Antibacterial with antifungal),Oral and Nasal Decongestants,Antihistaminic(like Cetrizine) ,Analgesic (like Ibuprofen) with an Antacid(like Rantac).
Do steam inhalation.Avoid water going inside ear.Use of ear plug will help to protect your ear from water.Avoid cold,spicy and oily food.Drink lots of fluids(warm).Do warm saline gargles.
