Suggest Cause For Rise In Temperature Post Intake Of Ibugesic In Children

My son has completed 4 yrs. For the past 2 days he has suffering from throat pain ( while swallowing anything) and high fever.. My paediatrician has prescribed ibugesic plus - 7.5 ml thrice daily. When I give him the dose, in ten to fifteen minutes he starts sweating and the temperature comes to normal... But after 4 or 5 hrs, the temperature raises as before. What shd I do?

Hi...Thank you for consulting in Health Care magic. Your son seems to be going through a viral illness of the upper respiratory tract. I am happy that he is not on any antibiotics. What you say is quite common in viral illness...but only thing which matters is how he is when there is no fever. If he is active in-between fever..do not worry. He is settle in 3-4 days. Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health.
