Suggest Cause For Sharp Pain Around The Rib Cage Region

I started having sharp shooting pains right to left across my upper midsection a week or so ago its like almost electric shock its so sharp . under bottom of rib cage I would say - I have had a colonoscopy a year ago and was clean bill of health and no problems since .
