What Causes Pain In The Chest After Receiving Flu Vaccine?
I received a flu vaccine last week. Within 5 minutes I had a sharp pain in my chest and lower rib cage. It went away. Since then I have had a sharp pain in my mid back near my lower rib cage. It comes and goes but seems to be getting worse. On occasion I will get a sharp pain in my chest that takes my breath away.

Your pain seems more likely to be related to a muscular skeletal problem, and not related to vaccine shot.
Get a chest x-ray done, and physical examination by your physician to determine the right diagnosis.
